- Carol believes buying or selling a home is about YOU. At the core, each client, family, or business seeking a home or commercial location has different needs and is unique. Carol cares about you & where you want to be. Buying a property is an important decision and can often be extremely stressful as a result; it makes a real difference having someone on your side every step of the way. Carol feels her job is to assist her clients with their vision of the home or investment property of their choice and make it theirs, and she takes that commitment seriously.
- Two words define Carol: negotiation and numbers.
She has more than a decade of real-estate experience, including a
former partnership in a real-estate appraisal company, an MBA, and a
strong background in corporate finance. In fact, she spent her
corporate career working at Fortune 100 companies, including Oracle
Corporation and Logitech, Inc., negotiating multi-million-dollar product
and budget portfolios. Her expertise in negotiations was honed during
many budget battles with senior executives, and when strong negotiation
is needed that expertise lends itself perfectly to negotiating
real-estate contracts on behalf of her clients.
- Carol is an experienced real-estate investor. She can walk through a property and quickly determine what should be
kept vs. what to rip apart and then put back together, as well as what
properties can be salvaged vs. what properties to walk away from. This
gives her clients two advantages: 1) Carol is well versed on the
design/cost side of real estate and 2) During her years in the
real-estate industry, Carol has built a solid network of industry
professionals that her clients may leverage for their home buying and
selling needs.
- Carol’s philosophy: the stronger the team, the better the outcome. Technology makes it easier to find a house or property but closing escrow is an entirely different matter. Working with some great lenders has enabled Carol to better negotiate for her clients because working with a great lender facilitates structuring each specific real-estate deal so that they can close escrow as smoothly as possible. Working with a great lender allows Carol to provide the best service to her clients, as effectively and as efficiently as possible. In 2011 for example, Carol worked with an amazing lender where they overturned a published appraisal on behalf of their client - not an easy accomplishment - and only the top 1% of realtors would know how to accomplish this for their client’s benefit.
